#relationshipgoals

What a sweet poem! Reading this poem by Anne Bradstreet filled my heart with happiness. Sure, there is a lack of imaginative elements, but this poem is straightforward and loving. It's simple and honest and there is a certain beauty that is found in its simplicity. You can tell that Bradstreet really is truly in love with her husband, and that they are inseparable soulmates. I think I speak for pretty much everyone when I say that I hope to find someone who prizes my love more than mines of gold.
Thinking about two people who love each other that much just warms my heart.:)

  2. I definitely agree! I love how she describes it so simply, but we can see how beautiful they are together! :)

  3. i just looked at the title and i knew this was yours......and technically you don't know if her husband loves her. He could beat her and she could still love him. Olden days. Abuse was normal

    1. I'd like to think that this family valued God most in their relationship and strove to glorify and please Him with their actions. So if the husband was abusive, then that would not be glorifying or pleasing to God. However, it also depends on how you define abuse, perhaps you see the hierarchy, which is a key element of marriage as mentioned in the Bible, as a form of abuse. But, she does seem happy and content in this marriage, so I would say your point is very unlikely.
