America: #1 in wasting time on the internet and selling corn.

First of all, can we just take a moment to acknowledge the fact that we are number one in corn sales???

How's that for exceptionalism!

I think that America is exceptional, but also, Americans do have this belief that they are unique. America has always been a country full of optimism, and the drive to become something great. This belief in ourselves is not a characteristic of every countries' mentality, however. Not everyone around the world has the opportunity and the freedom to be whatever they want to be. Some people are born into a caste that they can't escape, and some people have their lives completely laid out for them by cultural traditions, from the moment they are born. 

The freedom we have in this great country for and the opportunity that we all possess to make something of ourselves is truly a blessing, and something we must never take for granted!
