Sweet Tea or Unsweet tea? If you are from the south you always get sweet tea, rarely ever       unsweet tea. However, Throughout The United States people not from the south prefer to drink unsweet tea. Why the difference? In the South, ice tea is not just a summertime drink, it is served year round with most meals. However in the North, people really just don't like the taste of sweet tea. The way the they drink tea is black or unsweetened is that how it is, they just don't like sweet tea.
