iPhone Vs. Android

In America today, it is hard to find someone who has not owned or used a smart phone.  In fact, some low income families rely on smartphones for their only source of online access, taking the place of a computer because many smartphones are affordable.  Since producing and selling smartphones has become highly depended upon in America, it is a competitive field in which two companies have risen to the top: Apple and Android.

The topic has become somewhat of a heated debate between which company produces better smartphones.  While owners of each type of phone almost always fight strongly for the company of the smartphone they own, they often argue based on what they feel, not the true facts.  While both companies make similar products, each provides different advantages and setbacks which makes it impossible to arrive at a logical decision on which is best.  The decision lies with the consumer, it depends on the needs, likes/dislikes, and purpose each individual wants from their smartphone that allows them to make the choice.  Neither phone can be a perfect match for everyone, but the owners of each seem to think otherwise.

  1. I have owned both an android phone and an iphone in my time... I used to despise apple and only believe in android phones (of which Motorola was the best at the time). However, I decided to try the iphone 5 out two and a half years ago, and it's been perfect for me. It is much smoother and easier to work with. Plus, Siri and iMessage are second to none. I do still despise Apple computers and I hate iTunes and Apple Music; however, their phones are well constructed.

  2. Also many people who argue strongly for one side or the other have not had or worked with the type of phone that they are strongly against. If people were willing to try both types of phones they would be able to decided which was better for them instead of choosing one and thinking its the best with no actual comparison.

  4. Personally I am a fan of the iPhone more because I have used and had an apple product for a long time. I am more comfortable with the iPhone features because I know how to use it.

  6. Very interesting. I would not have anything against Iphones if they were not made by slave labor. I, being opposed to slavery, am also opposed to Iphones. if you are curious-- http://uproxx.com/technology/2012/01/ny-times-investigation-confirms-that-apples-factories-in-china-are-basically-slave-labor-camps/
