A Realistic Response to Mrs Carnes
I sat in a chair staring blankly at a wall. I had not slept for 40 days, beating the world record for days without sleep by 29. I was little more than a vegetable with my eyes open. I had a severe case of hyper-metabolism and my body was burning excessive calories even with me sitting still. My heart felt weak as my bloodcells... I'm sorry even keeping a train of thought is a chore. Time seems to have slowed down and skips around constantly as I experience micro-sleeps and disorientation. My body is agonizing for rest, but I refuse to give it any. then my heart stopped and I died.
