Halloween 1996

Halloween night I have been looking forward to this night all month this is the first year my mom is letting me go with my friends.  I live in the little town of Haddonfield, Illinois where we take this night very serious every one dresses up and every gives out candy.  I'm going as the boogieman and my two friends are going as a Doctor and a sheriff.  It is about seven o'clock we have just started trick or treating around eight are bags where almost full and thats when we past the house.  This house is not like any other house it has been abandoned since December 1963.  All the windows are broken it is over grown with vines and trees, all the paint has peeled off of it the wood has rotted and turned black but to top it all off the last person who went in side was never seen again.  Suddenly we see something moving in side it we cannot make out what it is.  We take a step closer to get a better look as we get closer we are able to make out a shape it's a human.  As we keep walking closer it keeps walking closer then it just disappears.  We take off running when we get to the end of the street we turn around to see if there is anyone behind us and there he is standing out side of his house the real boogie man the one person every one in this town fears.  He starts walking closer to us so we start to run as we start to he disappears.  We start to go back to my house to tell my parents but the only way to get back to my house it to walk back past his house.  As we are approaching his house we she someone standing at the end of the street it is my older sister who is looking for us, we start to run to her to tell her what happened.  When we get to her she is petrified with fear she slow starts to point across the street where he stands.
