In response to Josh

Time. Time. Time. I don’t know how long I sat there, staring at those numbers on the clock. I had slept. I had done it. I turned toward the pill bottle, smiling in happiness, but something was wrong. There were no pills left.
I picked up the bottle, looking at it. I looked at it from underneath. I looked down at it. From the left. From the right. I looked and looked and looked, fighting the rage that was filling me. Rage at the terror that felt like a knife coursing through my head.
There were no. pills. left.
It was then I heard something, a voice that was faint and fuzzy. I was staring at that pill bottle, tears welling in my eyes when I looked up suddenly.
For the first time since I could remember, I heard something. It wasn’t like the torturous noises I had heard all throughout my dreams, throughout the past days. It sounded real.
”It was too much. The new drug, it was too much for her system.”
The room in front of me blacked out for a second, replaced with darkness. I shook my head, clawing at my eyes. It did it again, and again, and Again.
Finally, the room in front of me vanished all together. I opened my eyes slowly, staring up.
At first I thought I was going blind. All I saw was white. Bright, bright white. Then I realized I was in a room. The walls were white. The ceiling, white. Even the labcoats of the two people standing in front of me.
I recognized the voice of one of them. It was the voice of Doctor brown. But the man was not doctor brown.
I looked at where I saw, on a small chair. No chains bound my hands like in my dream. It was simply Velcro. Velcro that held me down as I screamed in panic.
My eyes swum with tears, blinding with the light from those glaring lights above me.
The tears clouded my vision, so that all I heard was the familiar voice of the man who was not Doctor Brown.
“We’ll have to bring her down off it. Then we can try the next drug.”

After Rigg

We decided to follow the path of the stream so that we could always have water while traveling.  We knew we needed to find our way out of the jungle, following the stream seemed to be our best option. We traveled along the stream for two days and it eventually led to a small cave, too small for anyone to fit into.  We had reached a dead end. We were still in the jungle, with no stream to guide us to civilization.

After voting for Donald Trump, I soon realized that I made a huge mistake. I decide to back my bags and move to Canada. When I got to Canada, I began a Maple Tree Farm to express my inner Canadian. After living in Canada for over a year, had completely transformed into a Canadian. After being a Maple Tree Farmer,  I decided to become a Super hero. I shall become the greatest super hero called CAPTAIN MAPLE LEAF. Now I Just have to figure out what my super power would be?

A Realistic Response to Mrs Carnes

I sat in a chair staring blankly at a wall. I had not slept for 40 days, beating the world record for days without sleep by 29. I was little more than a vegetable with my eyes open. I had a severe case of hyper-metabolism and my body was burning excessive calories even with me sitting still. My heart felt weak as my bloodcells... I'm sorry even keeping a train of thought is a chore. Time seems to have slowed down and skips around constantly as I experience micro-sleeps and disorientation. My body is agonizing for rest, but I refuse to give it any. then my heart stopped  and I died.

The outrageous title is so those who wish to read the full story may follow the chain from start to "finish".

Donald Trump led me away from the hair cage. "This is the most ridiculous dream I've ever had." I said. The world around me suddenly went watercolor and drained away into darkness. I flailed my arms wildly through the air in an attempt to attack the darkness. But, it was no use. The darkness paid me no heed. After a while I became tired and sat down. I thought about my insomnia and the other poorly defined and seldom mentioned changes that brought me to this point. I thought about Mr. Hendrick and how when I found him he had changed his name to Dr. Brown. I laughed at my confusion about the medicine and I wondered why Alice had showed up multiple times and contributed so little to the dream I was still having. Then it hit me. I. was. still. dreaming. This was a strange realization for me. I had never really become aware of my dreams before. "There's a name for this, I know it." I couldn't remember it. I stared around in the darkness not seeing anything, just thinking about how I was dreaming. The darkness was putting me on edge and I became desperate to see something. I tried to move my hand in front of my face, but to my dismay, I no longer had any discernible hand or face. For all intents and purposes I was little more than a transparent eyeball gazing at a never-ending void. I wanted to scream out to prove that my in-dream existence had meaning. But did it? Did anything I did in a dream really have any meaning at all? Upon awaking anything that happened in the dream would be little more than an easily forgotten memory of little substance. If I was lucky enough to remember any of this strange twisting dream upon waking the most it could do is give me a conversation piece at dinner or with my co-workers. People say dreams are a window into one's own psyche, but I'm a see-through eyeball in a limitless black nothingness. What does that say about me? Is this the result of the medicine or am I the real problem? Have I not been sleeping because I didn't want to face the emptiness that is me? "Well, it seems I'm stuck here now." I would have said had I had a mouth. "I am here in the darkness! Perhaps, I am the darkness." I thought to the nothingness. "But what's wrong with that? If my sub-conscience is a black void then that's what it is. If anything, that means there is plenty of room to fill up with potential." The deep unpenetrable black did not respond. "I accept myself. I. Accept. Myself." I repeated the mantra over and over and suddenly I could tell something was changing. I began moving through the darkness gaining speed with every second suddenly the darkness was seeming less dark. My view was zooming out and a blue circle suddenly surrounded the darkness then white around that. I was looking at an eye. I continued moving out. everything went black for a moment and then I was looking at a closed eyelid and a face. My face. I was lying in bed and I was smiling. Then I woke up. I knew it was real this time too. The pills were sitting on my bedside table and I felt, well, really tired to be honest, but one does not make up forty days of sleep in one night. I noticed it was dark outside and decided to check the time to see how long I had slept. When I looked at my alarm clock I wanted to cry. It read 2:58 AM. I had only slept TWO HOURS!!!! I wanted to die. But, then I had another thought and checked my laptop. I wasn't sure whether to be relieved or not. It was the next day. I had slept for 26 hours. I decided I would wait until at least dawn before calling doctor brown. I tried to remember my dream, but could only remember something about Donald Trump and being happy with myself. I figured the two were probably linked and decided to vote for Donald Trump. After all, dreams are a glimpse into our subconsciousness and if mine was giving good vibes with Mr. Trump then it must have been what my sub-conscience wanted.

After Camden

We went searching for water. We knew that there was no way we could last with out some.  So after what felt like days we found a stream of water and quickly set up camp.  There we started a fire and boiled some of this water.

In Response to Indigo

I followed Alice towards the corner of the dirt room and we started to dig. Soon the dirt began to crumble away and it turned into a rabbit hole but on the other side I wasn't in wonderland. I was surrounded by hair. It was everywhere. I was completely surrounded by thick blonde hair. It was wrapped around me and I almost couldn't breathe. I soon realized I wasn't alone. The hair was attached to someone's head and at first I thought it was Rapunzel but unfortunately I was wrong. I walked closer to the figure and then she rapidly turned around. It was Hillary Clinton! My worst nightmare had come true. Hillary Clinton had me trapped and I had no choice but to do what she said which is ironic because she is prochoice. I wanted nothing more than to wake up. Suddenly a large gerbil gnawed through the thick impenetrable hair. As the gerbil freed me from the Hillary induced prison I noticed it was attached to the top of someone's head. It was Donald Trump! As the gerbil that made up his hair continued to gnaw at Hillary, Donald turned to me and said "I love China. Now let's get out of here." As we left he remarked "You know Hillary actually loves me. I hire lots of Hillarys"
