SCP-106 (Lost Footage)

Dear Professor Clemmons

This message should be secure, but just in case do not continue reading until you have disabled all surveillance cameras in your quarters.

As per our agreement I have managed to procure footage of the discovery of SCP-106. As to how I obtained these videos is none of your concern. I expect for you to honor your side of the bargain. In case your memory has been in any way impeded I will remind you what you owe me, 21 btcs in addition to the ceasing of experimentation on my daughter. The Foundation should have not be able to track this transaction if you transfer the money to the following coded address (2dfe45Gt6--6789).

*Camera 1 flickers on

*Camera 1 perspective: The camera is stationed outside of a 2-story abandoned house, the walls and covered in mold and mildew and the wood siding is completely rotten and weak. There are a number of windows on the bottom floor; however, all of the glass in these windows has been blown out. The window seals are all rotten and many have fallen off and lay broken in front of the building. The camera is in the front yard of the building where the vegetation seems to to be growing out to the point that it almost covers the door. The camera is slowly lifted by an unknown force and is carried toward the door. The door itself is rotten and hanging lazily off of the hinges. The camera pans down slightly to show a pair of boots and jeans which cover the legs which presumably belongs to the camera man. A low grunt is heard as the camera shakes; the camera pans back up and shows that the door has been forced open. The door leads to what appears to be a sitting room, stairs to the upper level are directly in front of the door, but the sitting room is located simply 2 feet to the right of the stairs. The floor is covered in chunks of wood and broken glass; all furniture in the room is broken down and in a terrible level of disrepair. There are cracked photos of the assumed previous owners of the house. One picture stands out above all others, the camera slightly bobs as it slowly drifts towards what was once a picture of a young man in an army uniform. However, it seems that time has not been very generous to this picture as the frame is bent and the glass is shattered. The picture itself is torn, and the person inside the photo is distorted to the extent that it would be hard to tell if the inhabitant of the photo was indeed human had it not been for the obvious uniform. The Camera bobs slightly as it moves into the kitchen, which is full of rusted pots and pans, rotten tables and counters, and spoiled food. The Camera man doesn't stop to further investigate the room, but instead heads to the door in the very back of the room. The door opens up to the back yard, extremely different from the front yard. While the front yard was full of thriving vegetation, the back yard has almost no vegetation. All plant life is either dead or dying, the color yellow stains every inch of the grass up to the broken fence which boxes most of the yard. There appears to be a cellar entrance at the side of the house. This entrance is covered by the only pieces of non-rotten wood in the entire facility. The camera turns around and heads back inside towards the upstairs. The camera man very gingerly ascends the staircase making certain not to fall through said stairs. The upstairs appears to be a kind of empty attic, with a long room with a slanted ceiling and one bed and drawer on the opposite end of the room. Above the bed lies one solitary round window, the camera moves toward the bed and drawer. However, the camera as well as the man's steady breathing ceases as the sounds of something ascending the stairs is heard. The camera man slowly turns around to see a very old looking man with a bloody smile. His skin is dark, wrinkled, and obviously deteriorating; his eyes are dark black and are sunk into the back of his head. The camera man backs up, his breath growing steadily louder and more sporadic. The floor under the old man's feet seems to be growing even more rotten than it was before. In fact, the floor starts to sink in from the weight of the two entities. Until finally the camera shakes around in a blur as the floor gives out. *Camera 1 flickers off

*Camera 2 flickers on

*Camera 2 perspective: The camera had been pulled out of the pack of the camera man who had fallen through the floor. The man grunts as he struggles to pull himself up along with the camera. Finally, he gets up and turns the camera towards his torso so he can wipe off any smudges on the lens. The camera is turned downward, the previous camera is seen broken on the floor. Suddenly the sound of a door closing is heard. Without panning the camera back up, the camera man runs to the back yard and points the camera at the cellar entrance. The cellar entrance has a massive whole in the center, and the once good wood now seems to be decades older. The man moves into the pitch black cellar. Nothing can be seen due to the lack of lighting; however, the heavy breathing of the camera man can be heard crystal clear. The man's anxiety is evident as the camera shakes violently in rhythm to his breathing. A flash light turns on and illuminates the room, the camera revolves around the room... no sign of anything else in the cellar. There are plenty of old rotten barrels, and spiderwebs line the stone wall and floor. There is a very piercing sound of shifting rocks as the cameras spins around. The same old man seems to be crawling through the wall of the cellar. Startled, the camera man jumps backwards and falls onto the stone floor. The camera adjusts in time to see the old man dashing toward it. The camera is flung to the other side of the room as nothing but the sounds of screams fill the audio. The flashlight is flung next to the camera in time to show the same camera man being dragged into floor of the cellar. He appears to still be alive as he struggles to keep his upper body from being dragged down with the strange old man. However, his struggling is in vain as he is eventually consumed by the dark stone floor of the cellar. After a few hours pass, the flashlight flickers out leaving all other visuals

*Camera 2 end of footage...

Horrors of Being a White Chick

It all started when I decided I wanted some Chipotle. The thought of eating their food excited me beyond belief. I went to grab my Uggs when I realized they were missing! Of course I could not be seen dead outside the house in my knock off pair of boots, so I decided to go and get a pumpkin spice latte instead. I could use the drive through and no one would have to see my monstrosities I call boots! I wasn't that hungry anyways. I get in my car and drive to Starbucks, but as I pull in, I realize they are closed for construction. I was so freakin' pissed at this point, I decided to go home. This was the worst day of my life. I couldn't imagine that it could get worse until I went to grab the TV remote and realize my acrylic nail was chipped. I almost started to cry. Almost in tears, I turn on Netflix and start watching Grey's Anatomy. I was so excited because I was on one of the last episodes of season 11, then it happens. Derek gets hit by a truck and dies! So over whelmed with emotions and horror, I died because I just couldn't even.

I'm Done Hiding

How on earth was Channel 4 News supposed to know that releasing an expose on the history of the town’s foreclosed mental institute would cause such a panic? The place had been closed for half a decade- why all the fuss now? Okay… so maybe Kira could have edited out the part about that one escaped patient but how were we supposed to know that the town would start a riot? Gosh, for being a town of weather-hardened farm hands, these people were all so jumpy.
There’s supposed to be a town meeting that starts in five minutes about the whole affair. After the article was released, some of the women and town have claimed that they’ve seen the “insane escapee” over recent years, and the mayor hopes to refute their allegations. The mayor has actually done a fairly good job at handling the whole situation. I think the only reason the whole town isn’t in anarchy is because of is exceptional leadership.
So far the meeting is a bore. The witnesses of the “insane escapee” have nothing more than porous stories about unprovable events. The mayor seems to quickly be calming the crowd down and the meeting might actually be over fairly soon. The mayor is just about to give a closing statement when…
“Ladies and Gentleman, I am going to have to request a ten minute recess. We will return in a moment.” Murmurs ripple through the crowd as the mayor and his assistant walk out of the room. I dart out after them, hoping this is my chance to get an exclusive for Channel 4.
The air’s cooler in the hallway and the lights ominously flicker. There is the loud thud from down the hall and I nearly jump out of my skin. I must look ridiculous, terrified out of my wits over normal noises. It almost makes my laugh. I continue down the hallway until I hear the mayor’s voice behind one of the doors.
I start my introduction before I walk through the door. “Hello, Mayor Hindan- my name is Ja-“
The sight on the other side of the door freezes me to the core.
Ms. Thimbaum, the mayor’s assistant, is splayed out on the floor drenched in blood. I kneel down the floor next to her, trying to find a pulse. As I examine her face closer, I see strange symbols carved into her forehead. In fact, all down her neck and arms are carved the same symbols. Around her elbow, the symbols turn into words.
                I’m done hiding
                I’m done hiding
                I’m down hiding
Trying to shove down the scream in my throat, I slowly get up off the floor. My khaki pants are stained crimson and the sight makes my stomach roll. I have to get out of here.
That was until I heard him.
“Whose there?” a voice echoes from shadows in the corner. It’s the mayor.
“Mister Mayor? Is that you? Are you all right?” I start to walk over to the corner before I hesitate.
The only response is faint whispering.
                “I’m done hiding.”
                “I’m done hiding.”
                “I’m done hiding.”
And then it dawns on me.
“Everyone’s terrified that the insane escapee is still in their midst.” The mayor starts to step out of the corner. Blood drips from the knife glinting in his hand. “They never thought he was leading them.”
He looks down at Ms. Thimbaum’s corpse.

“Do you want to be next?”

Terrifying Times in Target

It was a semi-chilly morning in November. Genevieve Rose was walking into her job at Target at 8:00 that morning like she tends to do. As Genevieve is walking in, she realizes that her entire store had been infested with Red Card-preying zombies. She was terrified. She ran for her life, but she was never able to escape the Red Card thirsty zombies that were her bosses. Jerome, the most fearsome, made his way to her. Genevieve finally realized it was time to take a stand against these terrible creatures. She braced herself, ready to fight, but when Jerome finally got to her, she told him she was tired of how she and the other humans had  been treated, and she was ready to do something about it. He looked at her, his face turning red, and just like that, she was incinerated. Gone from the face of the work place, never to return.

PS. I didn't actually get fired lol

A Man of Talents

There once was a man.
This man had many talents, many of which had a ban.
Some say he was a sorcerer, others, a madman.
But this man had an odd quirk, something no regular person might do.
He had a thing, a knack, for collecting worn out shoes.
He would roam the streets, dancing with glee,
when on the ground, a shoe he would see.
He bent over, but had a stop so abrupt,
due to the truck that was to show up.
In the blink of an eye the man was gone,
with a splash of red on a nearby lawn.
Organs were displayed all over the ground,
many of which have yet to be found.
The moral of the story? It can't be beat.
Don't pick up shoes from off the street.

Boo

BOO!!!!!! I scared you!!! Now your insides are jello and you are crying.

That deaded moment that presents itself thrice a week.

It was Tuesday morning. I had just spent a great, rather normal weekend. After school Friday I had a basketball in which we won off a Joshua Melvin 3-point buzzer beater. The next day I woke up around 10:30am, ate some brunch, mowed a couple of my neighbors' yards. I went to dinner with a couple of my friends at the Cheese Cake factory. Brittany couldn't go, but it was no surprise to us. We hung out around the mall for a couple hours, and then I went home. The next morning I got up and went to church with my family. Sunday school was fantastic - we were discussing the faith of Abraham. The worship service was also great! We sang three of my favorite songs, and the sermon was on prayer. After church my family and I went to Los Rios where I ordered the Chicken Fajita Nachos with no tomatoes (so they make it fresh and it is warmer) and a side of lettuce. I went home, prepared for Tuesday's bible study, watched the NASCAR race (Jimmie Johnson won). I then headed to band practice at church and then participated in the youth group activities. After leading worship and having our small group (in which Dalton arm wrestled Steven Hawkins), I drove a couple of friends home. I then went home and went to bed. Monday brought a plethora of Literature and government homework. I was busy with school until around 5:30pm. After that, played guitar for a few mins and then at grilled chicken and corn on the cob with my family. I played Legos with my younger brothers for a while. After they went to bed, my family and I watched the latest episode of NCIS: Los Angeles (Agent Callen died). The next morning, I woke up at 7:00am. I stayed in bed for twenty-five minuets dreading the moment that was fast approaching. After rising, I got dressed, brushed my teeth, shaved (per Mom's request - I am secretly attempting to become James Harden). I went down stairs, grabbed a bowl of lucky charms. I grabbed my books and waited a for my sister to be ready to leave. Twenty minuets after getting out of bed, I am on the road. After my four minuet drive to school, I parked my car (in my parking spot that everyone knows never to park in). I walk into school. Greet my friends, settle down for literature class. We are reading Uncle Tom's Cabin. I attempt to pay attention, but I am tired of being told what happens. After Tom dies, the entire class is really sad. The bell rings. I gather my belongings. I realize that in ten minuets, the moment I've been dreading will have arrived. I grabbed my calculator and book and slowly walked with my friends down the long hallway in front of the office. I strike up a conversation with Ally in order to procrastinate the inevitable. However, our conversation ends when she mentions her Letterman. We then proceed down the hallway. I see it in front of me. I attempt to resist, but I know I cannot. I enter the room. Sit down. Hold my ears, hoping to prohibit myself from hearing the bell ring. It doesn't work. The bell rang. I say a quick prayer. It is the beginning of second period. The horror had started. I could already hear the screams. Physics class had begun.

I ended up surviving physics, but I knew that in 5700 minuets I'd be right back in class.
